The intercom system woke us up about 5 times last night with ear piercing beeping.  I understand that there were power outages, but why is this system waking us all up for power outages?  We don't need to know about the power outage in the middle of the night.
The system is either broken or programmed incorrectly, or so ancient that it doesn't know what it's doing.
I wonder if this can be looked into. One more night like this and we will be very unhappy.
Anyone knows more about this and what we can do about it?

Any problem such as this should be reported to the site management office.  Since you are probably working today, I will forward your message to Richard Price with a CC to you.

Last evening Telegraph Landing experienced three power outages which were a result of problems within the PGE grid and not as a result of any building issue.  The intercom alarm systems are programmed to go off in the event of a power failure of any time.   Power failures can result as a result of a PGE grid outage or as a result of emergency events.   If an owner does not wish to have their intercom system alarm go off when there is a power failure they can ask to have the intercom system disconnected.  However if an intercom system is discounted at the request of an owner they would no longer have any ability to use the system and would lose a their means of system  communication with the front desk.   Considering the rate number of power outages we experience I would not suggest one have their system disconnected.  Please also note that the management office welcomes inquiries of this nature, and would be happy to assist any owner with questions of this nature.

Every time the intercom went off, I turned on the light in order to turn the intercom off. There was no power outage.
Plus, nothing like this happened in building one. Something is wrong with this system.
